Metallica and other metal bands of the 80s would not sound the way they do if not for Accept. The German thrash metal band contributed to the sub-genre and influenced many bands. Led by the screeching vocals of Udo Dirkschneider and carried on the fast energetic guitar playing of Wolf Hoffmann and drum playing of Stefan Kaufmann, Accept toured around the world headlining festivals and selling out concerts.
